Question:
Is it possible to send Acquire Editor Pages (Templates) to the Acquire2Go Default Project?
Resolution:
Yes. However, as the Acquire2Go Default Project is a SAAS folder and does not originate from Acquire Editor, you cannot send Hybrid Pages directly to it without downloading the Default Project first to your Acquire Editor. This can only be achieved by using Project Sync/Recovery.
1. Once you have downloaded the content in to your Acquire Editor, open the Project and delete all the existing content, such as Media and Playlists (Scripts). This is important as failing to do so can cause damage to the Default Project;
2. Add the Pages you want to become available in the Acquire2Go Default Project (the Acquire2Go option can be enabled in the Toolbox if you want to create an editable Page, otherwise left unchecked this sends a Page to the Portal to be added from the Playlist only);
3. Use the same credentials to Deploy the content, as you did when logging in the Project Sync/Recovery window and wait 15 mins for it to become available in the Default Project.
TIP: If you have deployed a Project using Acquire Editor for use with Acquire2Go you cannot delete this manually from within the Acquire2Go Portal. Instead you must remove these in the Acquire Editor and redeploy the changes to Acquire2Go, which will update the system from there.
