I often get upload failed when trying to upload media files, such as video that is larger than 100Mb in the Media Upload part of Acquire2Go, why?
We are currently working on an issue that formalises a completely new method of uploading. However you if experience this issue you can use one of two methods to upload files:
1. Use an FTP client application, such as FileZilla and input your Acquire2Go login/password details. This will allow the user to upload files using the FTP using 220.127.116.11. If using FileZilla, please ensure Passive Mode is set in the application (Go to: Edit > Settings > Connection > Passive Mode > Use the server's external IP address instead is selected).
If correctly connected you will see the Directory Structure - with the Project Folder and will be able to drag Media in it. Once uploaded this should be accessible from the normal Acquire2Go Media folder on the Portal as normal.
2. Press F12 on Internet Explorer to bring up the Console, click Emulation and under the Mode heading, change Document Mode to 9 and try using the normal uploading method again.
IMPORTANT: ensure this is returned to Default when complete, as it may impact on the normal operation of IE11.
