Placeholders

Question:

Going through the templates I noticed the term placeholders, without any actual media being present, are these simply blank files used to fill in spaces until actual media items are placed inside? 

Resolution:

If you are using Acquire Lite, then the templates are used to define the positions on-screen of the media and text you will be using.  If you are using Acquire Editor Essentials or Premier, the WYSIWYG editor combines the template designing and the choosing of media in one place. In all cases, it is possible to use the editor to create templates already including backgrounds, etc. for future use.
