Question:
I want to ban certain programs from being launched and used. How can I do this?
Resolution:
By using the Banned Programs list you can stop any number of applications from being launched by a user. If the user attempts to run such an application, he or she will see it open and immediately closed. Please note: no error message or other message is displayed.
To do this:
1. Open System Watchdog and select Settings.
2. Select Banned Programs...
3. Click Add... and navigate to the application that you want to block access to, in this example IEXPLORE.EXE (Internet Explorer) and click OK.
4. Close System Watchdog and test by attempting to run the banned program.
