Question:
I have been sent an App, but do not know how to install it. What do I need to do?
Resolution:
The Acquire Development Team work hard to continually improve our Apps and other software, in which case you will automatically receive periodic updates to download and install.
There are also instances where clients, require custom-built or updates to Apps and these will be sent directly to you and require manually installing.
To ensure the App is correctly installed, please download and copy the App file (.acq) into the ACQ folder inside the main Acquire installation folder, typically found at: C:\ProgramData\Acquire\acq
Once you have copied the App in to the folder, it will be available in Acquire Editor, however you will need to activate it. See: Activate Acquire Editor Apps (Plugins) for more information.
Please note: the ProgramData folder is typically a hidden folder, please check Folder Options if you cannot see it.
