Compatible File Types in Acquire2Go

What file types will the Acquire2Go Player support?

Resolution:

Acquire2Go will support for most file types.  However, the appropriate CODECs must be installed on the Acquire2Go Player for most video formats to run successfully.  

To help you Acquire2Go includes a tool which will find and install CODECs onto your PC.  After installing the Acquire2Go player you will automatically be asked to choose the CODECs you wish to add. 

If you want to add CODECs later, simply navigate to the Saas Player folder in your Start Menu and then choose Check Optional Extras.

Typical formats supported by Acquire2Go:

• Video Files - MPEG1, MPEG2, AVI, WMV, Quicktime (not recommended), FLV, MP4, H.264, DivX, XVid, MKV, WebM, M4V
• Graphics Files – BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIF, PSD, GIF, TGA
• Animation Files – SWF, Animated GIF, FLC
• Audio Files – WAV, MP3, WMA, AIFF, AU, WebA, OGG

TIP: we recommend using DivX encoded videos.
