Multiple Users Controlling Players

Can lots of people control the screens?

Resolution:

Yes.  Acquire has a number of ways to provide this for you. The question to ask however, is where are these users located, and what level of expertise/training do you expect them to have?  For instance, we normally see experienced people using the system to do more advanced things (or being an architect to the overall solution).  Typically this would be using the more advanced Acquire Editor suite in a central location (this can be a single user or a number of users with a site licence).

These users would then typically use the tolls to link to existing systems and services which can in turn control or change information/content in the digital solution (for example, these could be a spreadsheet or diary booking or EPOS systems) – this way, other users would be using a system they are updating anyway and would not need to do two tasks, and also would not need training in using a new system.  Alternatively, a new system specific to the users can be built (a simple webpage for instance) which can then change the content – this way these users need little or no training. Another alternative if using the Acquire solution for Digital Advertising or Digital Signage is to use our simpler Acquire2Go web based solution, either on it’s own or in combination with the Acquire Editor to provide a powerful, yet simple to use solution accessible from anywhere.
