Question:
I am sending a Deployment to some Acquire2Go Players which are in a valid Group but the Player signals Deployment issues. I have checked to see if the Units are in contact, which they are. What is the cause of the issue and how can be resolved?
Resolution:
In the first instance you should always refer to the DeployLog and this should provide more information why the Deployment may be failing.
In this case, the DeployLog shows Error receiving schedule (as shown below). This would indicate an error in a Playlist, such as missing file.

Typically, you should see an error message when trying to Deploy, such as:
In this case, you should NOT ignore such errors and attempt to resolve these to avoid Deployment errors. To resolve this problem, check to see if the media is still in the User's Media folder, as this may have been deleted in the past and/or go to the Playlist in question and simply click Save and Deploy again.
TIP: the Activity Summary and Filtering can help to identify a range of actions that a User performed and provides an audit trail of events. In this case the 0016.mp4 was deleted several weeks before the Deployment was sent.
